From Saturday Night Live to the Soho and Sedona International Film Festivals, Will’s music has accompanied hundreds of film, television, and commercial productions throughout the world. His compositions have appeared alongside programming and media for NBC’s Peacock, Netflix, Hulu, CBS, and BET. Embracing both his classical and popular roots, Will has become a go-to composer for directors, producers, and creative agencies seeking his bombastic orchestral, experimental, and rock-infused approach to underscore. His film scores have accompanied films distributed by Saban (a Lionsgate partner), FilmRise, Gravitas Ventures, and his most recent feature, End of the Rope, had it’s California premiere at LA’s historic Chinese Theater.

Will grew up in Minneapolis and began producing music in his early teens. Studying classical piano and head banging on stage with indie punk acts, his musical influences ran the gamut of jazz and rock to big band and orchestral music.  Following a music composition degree from St. John’s University, he moved to Los Angeles and spent several months working under composing veteran Jeff Rona, whose work appears on blockbusters such as Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, and The Prince of Egypt.

He has spoken on film music at the MSP International Film Festival, McNally Smith College of Music, Gobbler Music (Hollywood, CA), and his first book on film music is currently in peer review with a large international publisher. Will later moved back to his native Minnesota home where he planted roots. He lives and writes just outside Minneapolis.
