Kyle Devine

Kyle Devine is a music producer based in Portland, Oregon, whose work is licensed by culture-defining brands including Nike, NISSAN, ESPN, the NBA and McDonald’s. His style is typified by sophisticated rhythms, classic and electronic instrumentation, celestial vocals and penetrating bass that move the listener hypnotically closer to its source.

Devine’s work can be heard in countless forms of media, from full-length albums to radio and television advertisements, YouTube videos and corporate presentations.

As a young man, Devine was obsessed with hip-hop music and studied the production techniques of Dr. Dre, Timbaland and DJ Premier. Under the moniker Terminill, he began experimenting with the famed Akai MPC 2000XL, the same piece of gear favored by Kanye West in his iconic early works, and established a reputation in Portland’s hip-hop underground for producing industrial-grade beats.

In 2009, he opened Devine Noise, a full-service recording facility based in North Portland’s creative industrial district. Home to thousands of individual song and album projects, the studio served as a creative hub for musicians and audio technicians alike, and remains in operation under new ownership.

Today, he is a proud husband and father of four and continues to work full-time as a music producer, software developer and connector of the creative community world-wide.
